June Update! Microsoft Dynamics NAV Development Preview

This month’s update is focused on making the boundary between the in-app designer and Visual Studio Code smoother. In the in-app designer you can now reposition or hide a Cue tile or Cue Group on any page by using the jewel menu.

NEW! NAV CRM Table Enhancements

Now that the Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016 CU 20 and the NAV 2017 CU 7 have been release, you can take advantage of the enhancements to the PowerShell cmdlet New-NavCrmTable. Three parameters have been added or changed: AuthenticationType, Verbose, and ConnectionString.

Now Available! Data Refresh APIs in the Power BI Service

The general availability of new APIs for managing data refresh in the Power BI service allow you to programmatically trigger data refreshes and retrieve refresh history for any dataset that you own. In addition, you’ll be able to integrate data refresh into your existing ETL or deployment processes.
