As usual, this newest update includes all application and platform hotfixes, as well as any regulatory features that have been released for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016. Friendly reminder: Before installing a cumulative update in a production environment, test it in a non-production environment.

Announcing! Single Sign-On Support When Connecting to Data Sources from the Power BI Service

It is now possible to use Single Sign-On, leveraging Kerberos, when connecting to certain data sources using DirectQuery mode from Power BI. When single sign-on is configured for the data source, each user sees precisely the data for which they have permissions, i.e. no shared data caching across users.

New! Power BI Expands Access to Intelligence for External Guest Users

Power BI users can now seamlessly distribute Power BI apps and dashboards to guest users outside of their organization. Recipients can securely sign into the service using their organization’s security credentials or a personal email address. The content owner still maintain control over the internal data.
